Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your QuizBU account and the data linked to it from within the app.

How to delete your account

1. Open the QuizBU app and sign in to your account.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm with "Delete Account" in the sheet that opens.

The "Delete Account" option appears when you are signed in with an account; it is not shown in guest sessions.

Once you confirm, your account is deleted immediately and permanently and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Data that is deleted

• Your account record and profile details (name, email, phone, uploaded profile photo, coin balance, scores) and your sign-in (Firebase Authentication) record
• Your quiz, exam, daily quiz and battle history and statistics
• Badges, level progress, unlocked categories, bookmarks and leaderboard scores
• Coin transactions and in-app purchase records
• Your contest leaderboard entries and battle rooms you hosted
• Session tokens and notification device registrations

Data that is kept

• Question reports you submitted are kept for moderation; the link to you is removed.
• Battle rooms you won and referral reward history remain; the link to you is removed.
• Your user ID may remain in records of notifications that were already sent.

Can't access the app?

You can request deletion of your account by writing to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
